Parents:
Hope is an essential ingredient in everyone's life. Sometimes reflecting on past hopes can nurture confidence in the future. Use the questions in this section to help you discuss hope with your children.

Children
Do you remember when you hoped for something? How about hoping for a certain teacher at school? How about hoping for a special toy or that a special friend could come over to visit? It's okay to hope your parent is well again, or that they don't have to go to the hospital. Sometimes what we hope for happens. Other times we can be disappointed when what we hope for doesn't happen.
